Wren AI is an open-source, agentic GenBI (generative business intelligence) platform that lets teams and AI agents ask business questions in plain English and receive governed SQL, charts, and interactive dashboards across 20+ data sources. It uses a semantic engine (MDL) to give LLMs context about a company's data, enforces row- and column-level security at query time, and can be run in the cloud or self-hosted. It also supports embedding conversational analytics into products via iframes, a REST API, and MCP, plus a self-learning feedback loop for improving accuracy.
