Best Hugo AI Alternatives in 2026
Updated Oct 12, 2026
Looking for alternatives to Hugo AI? Here are 24 similar tools in the Customer Support category.
Why people look for a Hugo AI alternative
- •No standalone Hugo subscription — it is bundled into Crisp's paid plans, creating platform lock-in
- •When Hugo launched, some users' previous AI workflows were deactivated without notice
- •The generic hand-off/escalation message reportedly cannot be customized yet
To be fair to Hugo AI: resolves up to 60% of support tickets; transparent, visible and editable logic. If that's what matters most to you, it may still be the right call.
How we picked this list
The alternatives grid below is matched algorithmically: same category, ranked first by how many functional tags a tool shares with Hugo AI, then by AIToolPundit's own user rating and page views. We don't currently pull in third-party review platforms (Capterra, G2, Trustpilot) — ratings shown are ours alone, not aggregated.
No listing can pay to rank higher on this page. Order here comes only from tag relevance and rating/views — unrelated to any paid placement elsewhere on the site.
